About LDSA

Built by data people who love to teach.

We are a volunteer community from many organisations and backgrounds, united by the belief that excellent data science education should be practical, open and welcoming.

Members of the Lisbon Data Science Academy community

A non-profit learning community

Every contribution goes back into the programme.

LDSA is run by volunteers. Course fees support the programme and its learners, helping us improve materials, teaching, access and the community around them.

Our instructors and organisers bring experience from research, startups, consultancies, public institutions and technology companies. What connects them is a willingness to share what they know.

People over the years

The community behind LDSA.

This migration preserves the volunteer roster published on the previous website. Roles and employers change over time; the shared contribution to LDSA is what matters here.
